Every VAN T's speciality begins long before it reaches our workshop. It begins with the people who raise our livestock, cultivate our herbs, blend our spices and care for the land where every ingredient originates.

Across Austria, Italy and South Africa, we work with carefully selected farmers, producers and artisans who share our values. Respect for nature, traditional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality form the foundation of every partnership.

Anton Donnerer and Daniela Haller-Donnerer are the owners of Pur Naturhof, a family-run certified organic farm in Styria, Austria. The birth of their daughter Anna in 2011 inspired their decision to gradually transform the family farm into a fully certified organic operation. Today, they are dedicated to sustainable farming, responsible animal husbandry and producing premium organic meat with a clear vision for future generations. Their commitment has earned Pur Naturhof several prestigious awards.

pur Naturhof in Eggersdorf near Graz is a family-run organic farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture, responsible animal husbandry and regional food production. What began as a traditional fruit farm has grown into an award-winning organic farm producing premium organic meat, fruit, vegetables and handcrafted specialities.

Anton Donnerer and Daniela Haller-Donnerer believe that exceptional food begins with healthy animals, fertile soil and respect for natural processes. Their commitment to year-round outdoor husbandry and organic farming earned pur Naturhof the Styrian Bio Award 2021 and the BIO AUSTRIA Bio Fuchs Award 2021.

Today, pur Naturhof supplies the premium organic meat used in our Austrian VAN T's products. Together, we share the conviction that outstanding craftsmanship begins with exceptional ingredients.

From Great Wines to Exceptional Vinegar

Acetaia Pahontu is located in the Euganean Hills of northern Italy, where artisanal wine vinegars are crafted from carefully selected organic and biodynamic wines. Using the traditional static surface fermentation method in glass, every vinegar matures slowly for at least six months, developing remarkable balance, elegance and complexity.

Today, Pahontu produces premium wine vinegars from varieties such as Pinot Nero, Moscato and Prosecco. Their commitment to craftsmanship, innovation and exceptional quality was recognised with the Gold Award at the international "Le Forme dell'Aceto 2021" competition for packaging and design.

For our VAN T's products, we use their Pinot Nero wine vinegar, whose vibrant fruit character and delicate acidity perfectly complement our handcrafted specialities.

Crafted by Time

Great vinegar cannot be rushed. At Pahontu, carefully selected wines are transformed through slow, natural acetification using the traditional static surface fermentation method. Time, patience and respect for the raw material create vinegars with remarkable elegance, freshness and character.

Founder of seeds for life Farm Cooperative in the Western Cape of South Africa. She started the project during the COVID-19 pandemic after losing her job, first growing vegetables in a small garden in her own swimming pool. What began as an experiment gradually developed into a certified organic farm producing vegetables and nutrient-rich plant powders with care for soil, seasons and community.

From a Swimming Pool Garden to a Fully Certified Organic Farm

Tanya van Stade

seeds for life Farm in the Western Cape of South Africa grows certified organic vegetables and plant powders, including beetroot, spinach and butternut. Founder Tanya van Stade started the project during the COVID-19 pandemic after losing her job.

What began as a small vegetable garden in her own swimming pool has grown into a thriving organic farm built on determination, sustainable farming and respect for healthy soil.

Working with natural growing methods, Tanya produces nutrient-rich vegetables that are carefully processed into premium plant powders. Her organic beetroot powder is used exclusively in our VAN T's products produced in South Africa.

Today, seeds for life  supplies a growing network of partners while continuing to strengthen local food systems and promote sustainable agriculture in the Western Cape.

Working with the Soil

Healthy ingredients begin with healthy soil. seeds for life enriches its fields using worm castings, organic fertilisers and natural composts, creating resilient soil and strong, healthy crops without synthetic pesticides.

From Farm to VAN T's

Among the crops grown at seeds for life is beetroot, from which our organic beetroot powder is produced.

For Oake Woods & Co this connection between soil, plant and ingredient is essential. Good food does not begin in a factory. It begins in the soil and in the hands of people who care for what grows there. Working with farms like seeds for life allows us to remain connected to the land, the seasons and the people whose knowledge and dedication shape the ingredients we use.
